What causes Frown Lines & Crow's Feet?
Those unwanted frown lines and crow's feet are refered to as "dynamic" wrinkles. They are caused by the repetitive movement of an underlying muscle. As we age, our skin is less tight, and this repetitive movement caused by sqinting, worrying, etc. eventually causes our skin to crease or wrinkle.

How does Botox Therapy Reduce The Signs of Aging
Botox is injected in miniscule amounts into the appropriate muscle causing the muscle to relax, thus diminishing the dynamic line or furrow.
Botox therapy has been used for over ten years to treat ophthalmological disorders and has become the chosen non-surgical treatment to reverse signs of aging. After treatment, patients can still frown and smile, but the expression wrinkles around the eyes and forehead, lips, chin and neck are diminished and normal facial expression is unaffected. Correction with Botox therapy is very natural and most treated patients feel that they have a more wide-eyed, rested, and less angry look.

What Areas Can Be Treated With Botox Therapy
Currenty, Botox injections can be given around the eyes (crow's feet), on the forehead (frown lines), upper lip and chin to reduce dynamic lines and furrows. It can also be used to treat prominent neck bands. Botox also reduces sweating of the armpits.

How Long Does Botox Correction Last?
Botox correction lasts an average of 3-4 months. After repeated injection, the results may last even longer.

How Soon After Treatment Will I See Results?
The effects of Botox therapy become apparent in the first 3 to 5 days after treatment

Are There Any Side Effects?
The most common side effect of Botox treatments is temporary bruising at the injection site. This resolves within a couple of days. In rare instances, the Botox can travel, causing a droop in an eyelid. The effects are completely temporary.
